JEANNEAU SUN ODYSSEY 490
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 | Sailing Yacht Charter | Lavrio - Athens | Greece
The Sun Odyssey 490 is a brand new (2020) sailing yacht, designed by Philippe Briand and Jean-Marc Piato for the French shipyard Jeanneau. She features a unique design that combines a contemporary, harmonic style with yet traditional elements that stem from Jeanneau’s 27 years of experience. Although a mid-sized sailing yacht, she features an incredibly spacious outer deck that allows movement on deck without obstacles. As such, her sidedecks are inclined and slope down to the cockpit floor, making life on board easy and comfortable. Her interior space is designed in a somewhat atypical fashion as well with many uninterrupted lines that maximizes the space visually and physically. Many hatches and windows allow plenty of natural light to flow in and accessories in light cream colors give the yacht an elegant yet cozy ambiance. She is based in Marina Lavrio (Athens area), which is the prefect starting point for two main sailing areas in Greece: the Cyclades Islands, that include the famous Milos, Naxos, Paros, Mykonos and Santorini, and the Argo-Saronic Gulf, which is a well-protected sailing area with beautiful islands such as Aegina, Poros, Hydra, and Spetses.
